The place
Elovdol village
Elovdol village lies in picturesque Western Bulgaria, in Pernik Province and part of Zemen Municipality. At the foot of the majestic Ruy–Verila mountain range, the fresh air and green slopes bring peace and quiet.
Nearby flows the Svetlya River along which, since medieval times, an old trading route passed — evidence of the area’s rich history.
Here, amidst the beauty and harmony of nature, stands our seniors’ residence Elov Dom — a warm and secure place where older adults receive care, attention and kindness.
The garden
A place to rest and stroll
The spacious 3-decare yard is landscaped with benches, flower paths and shady trees, creating a cozy setting for rest and strolls.
Green corners invite unhurried chats, reading, or simply enjoying the clean air and silence.
The Holy Spirit church
In the yard stands a small church — “Holy Spirit”, built in 1873. During renovation in the 1970s a document issued by the Ottoman administration was found in its walls, granting permission to build with specific dimensions.
This sanctuary brings a sense of continuity and tradition, adding to the calm and spiritual harmony of our residents.
